Igaliku Hotel & Lodges offer cosy and comfortable accommodation combined with delicious meals made from local products and served at our restaurant.
The hiking opportunities are some of the best in the area, with at least two full day-hikes through stunning landscapes. Furthermore, the village itself is the perfect place to kick back and relax. You can rest with a book outside your cabin, go fishing at Lake 90 or explore the ancient Norse ruins of the former Episcopal residence.

Our country hotel in Igaliku is situated in the middle of the small settlement. The hotel has 8 rooms in total. All rooms are small but have comfortable beds and a modern interior. Everything is newly renovated in 2021.
The hotel has shared toilet and shower facilities. You will find separate showers and toilets in the corridor.
Accommodation includes bed linens, towels and breakfast.
At Igaliku hotel you will find the only restaurant in Igaliku. Our dining room is newly renovated in 2021 and welcomes you with a modern interior and a perfect view to the fiord and surrounding mountains. Here, we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you want to spend the day hiking in the area, you can order a lunch packet. Dinners consist of two main dishes with Greenlandic products. You can buy soft drinks, beer and wine to accompany your meal. We also sell coffee, tea, homemade cake, chocolate, snacks, post cards, maps and a number of souvenirs.
In 2021 we opened our small guest house in Igaliku. It is a large wooden cabin with 4 double rooms and a large shared living room. The interior is a modern design with comfortable beds. There is a small tea kitchen with complimentary coffee and tea. There are no cooking facilities in the guest house.
At our guest house you share toilet and shower facilities. There is a shared bathroom next to the living room.

If you are looking for a more private type of accommodation, we recommend that you book one of our cabins. This is probably one of the best double rooms you will find in South Greenland! All cabins are situated high above the hotel with an impressive view to the fiord and the great nature just outside your door. From the front terrasse you can enjoy the incredible Greenlandic silence and maybe you will have a visit from grazing lambs and curious chickens. Inside, we welcome you to a modern interior with comfortable beds, a small table and two lounge chairs. All cabins are heated, have electricity and a private bathroom with running cold/warm water, WC, and a shower. You will also find a boiler and complimentary coffee and tea.
Please notice, that our cabins do not have any cooking facilities.
We have 6 cabins with 2 beds in each cabin. It is also possible to add an extra bed in the cabin.

Since 2019 Blue Ice Explorer has been renting out this magnificent villa in Igaliku. This is the perfect place for a small group or family that wish to stay in Igaliku and feel like home. The Villa is a newly build wooden house with a private sun terrace on all sides of the house. Located in a very private and peaceful area with the finest view to the fiord and the surrounding mountains.
The interior is very modern and has everything you need to relax and enjoy you stay. Inside, you will find two bedrooms with double beds, a kitchen connecting to a large living room and a large bathroom. Above the bedrooms there is a small loft with 2 mattresses. A perfect place for the youngest guest to sleep. Next to the villa we have a small annex with an extra double room. It is possible to add this to your stay if you are a larger group.
Accommodation at the villa include bed linens, towels, kitchen with all cutleries, refrigerator etc. and full cleaning after checkout. At the villa breakfast is not included. However, you have the option to cook by your self in the kitchen og book meals at our hotel a few hundred meters from the villa.
When travelling to Igaliku by boat, you will typically disembark at Itilleq, which is a 4 km walk on a gravel road from the village. You can choose to have your luggage transported by car or, if you are not up to completing the walk, you can also order a car transfer.
Transport of luggage: EUR/DKK 12/90 per person (one way).
Transfer by car: EUR/DKK 55/400 per tour (one way) (1-4 persons).
